LGBTQIA+

While being part of the LGBTQIA+ community is a blessing, there is no question that it also comes with unique challenges. Things such as the threat/reality of losing family and/or friends when you come out, facing violence and discrimination, and the fear of losing your basic human rights can take a huge toll on people. Furthermore, many LGBTQIA+ individuals struggle with defining their sexuality, identity and more. Through weekly writing assignments and processing, we will examine and process any and all issues that are affecting you and help you move to a place of acceptance, peace and happiness.

I was so ashamed to admit that I was gay. I struggled for years with it, trying to not be gay. Then I met Jay and she helped me realize the problem wasn't with me. It was with everyone else.
